Fiddleheads & Ferns was created to showcase the work of Mimi O’Bonsawin and Ryan Schurman as they continue to compose instrumental music for Film & TV from their Log Home Studio.
An earthy soundscape album that brings you into their univers tucked away in a tiny log home in the eastern Ontario forest. Fiddleheads & Ferns has been played on CBC & DSP playlists which may be surprising for an instrumental album. It evokes story even without words and provides a unique space to listeners.
This album has been placed in various synch & commercials, has lead to the composing of Radio Canada’s Matin Du Nord Theme song as well as a portion the Sound and Light show on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
